WE the undersigned, petition the Town of Whitby council to change the ward boundary by-law. We are asking for the

elimination of local councillor wards so that all councillors can be held accountable and elected at large by all voters of

Whitby.  We ask that these changes are made within 90 days of receiving this petition. It’s not fair that some voters have less say because they live in a ward with more population than another. It is time to end this form of systemic voter

discrimination. TO PRESERVE ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE, WE NEED ONE WARD.
